From 1 May 2008 Liverpool Vision (URC) has merged its operations into a new economic development company with responsibility for the city's economic and physical regeneration.

The new Liverpool Vision brings together the activities of three companies - Liverpool Vision (URC), Liverpool Land Development Company and Business Liverpool. The company will accelerate the city's economic growth and physical development, while providing business and enterprise support within a delivery focused private sector-led company.

The company's vision is to build an internationally competitive and sustainable economy that creates and retains wealth through enterprise, skills, investment and quality of place.
