The Plymouth City Development Company (CDC) was launched in February 2008 to drive economic growth and regeneration and is a partnership between the private sector and Plymouth City Council, the South West of England Regional Development Agency and the Homes and Communities Agency.

Plymouth CDC is developing a full programme to achieve the economic growth in the city which includes developing economic and regeneration activities and business growth, securing inward investment, leading branding and marketing initiatives, developing the city’s economic infrastructure and ensuring the city creates employment opportunities for all.
